Only because you were my first everything. Everything I ever wanted. But it was all a lie. You put on a front, & said all the right things. Well you did the wrong thing to the right girl. And soon you’re gonna notice that I’m not waiting for you anymore. I’ve moved on, just like you did a while ago.
When I have my own kids,
want to actually be close to them to the point where they can trust me and tell me anything. I wouldn’t punish nor lecture them too harshly if they tell me the truth. I’ll let them go out and have fun with their friends, and get involved in relationships. I’m going to make them take care of their own responsibility, but I want to be there to guide them also. I don’t want to be the type of parent that controls their lives, like mine have done to me.
